Hotel Description:		HOTEL PLANTAGE is a small two star very comfortable hotel with 3* quality rooms for cheap discount rates. We offer budget accommodation located in a beautiful green area in the old centre of Amsterdam, Holland. Originally designed in the 17th century as a garden called "PLANTAGE". Between 5 and 15 minutes walk from Central Station, Damsquare, Rembrandtsquare; the old citycentre of Amsterdam is very confined and approximately three kilometres wide. All the main features are located in this area. Walking in combination with public transport (good and frequent tram- and boatlines) is the best way to see Amsterdam. Our guests have the key of the frontdoor of the hotel and can go in and out as they please. Hotel Plantage is a small very comfortable hotel, which caters for independent guests both leasure and business. ROOMS HOTEL PLANTAGE has 2 stars (no elevator) with many 3 and 4 star features: comfortable boxspring beds, colour TV (over 30 programs), private shower/bathroom, hairdryer, safe, fridge, watercooker and in the big rooms a pantry. Double glazing and lightproof curtains ensure a good night's rest. Telephone, fax service & pay-phone are available. The breakfast for hotel guests is served in the restaurant Meneer Nilsson on the same street from 08.45 AM untill the noon with the hotel voucher.

Getting There:		The Hotel Plantage is located opposite of the Amsterdam City Zoo called ARTIS. BY AIR: Train takes you from Schiphol Airport to Central Station Amsterdam. FROM CENTRAL STATION: tramline no 9: stop for the Zoo (=ARTIS): "Plantage Kerklaan" (7th stop, incl. Central Station; tramtickets are sold on the tram) BY CAR: on the eastern section of the ringroad Amsterdam (A10) the ZOO Artis, is indicated with an sign with a little black elephant. Take exit S114 and follow the signs (little black elephants) of our neighbour the Zoo. CITY CENTRE: follow the green signs ARTIS for walking tours in the centre.
Car Parking:		Hotel has own garages for 2 cars for the price of 20 Euro each per day. GUARDED PUBLIC PARKING GARAGE: At 600 meteres from the hotel with 10 % discount. FREE PARKING: At 10 minutes (7 tramstops) from the hotel free parking in the street
